Dr. Addie Ellis is a distinguished coach, skilled facilitator, seasoned organizational consultant, and an Amazon Best Selling Author. Renowned for her unwavering commitment to fostering sustainable and equitable systems change, she is dedicated to empowering institutions to effectively support and retain their staff of color. Dr. Ellis is a leading voice in the realm of introspection as a catalyst to social systems innovation.


Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Ellis has accumulated a number of accomplishments and accolades. Exemplifying her relentless pursuit of knowledge and expertise in her field, she holds a bachelor's in Psychology from UC Riverside with an emphasis in Ethnic Studies, a  master's  in Educational Counseling from National University, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management with a concentration in Educational Policy from Drexel University. She is also a certified professional coach. In addition to her education and consulting work, Dr. Ellis has held a diverse array of influential positions, including roles as a counselor, principal, charter school developer, student services director, and professor. Across each of these dynamic roles, she consistently centers her commitment to transformative leadership and equitable practices. As a liberatory leader, Dr. Ellis draws inspiration from Audre Lorde's profound words: "If I didn't define myself for myself, I would be crunched into other people's fantasies for me and eaten alive."


Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Ellis treasures her roles as Gram, Mom, and Auntie, finding immense joy in spending time with her family and community. Whether she's joyfully hula-hooping or conquering the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro her vibrant spirit and adventurous nature are evident.
